Dubai launches a platform to use drones in emergency response
Drones will reduce criminal and traffic emergency response time in Dubai

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced on Wednesday the launch of a platform for using drones to reduce the response time for criminal and traffic reports.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said in a tweet on his official account on “ Twitter”: “During my visit today to the headquarters of the General Command of Dubai Police, the Drone Box platform was launched, which is a platform for launching drones distributed in the emirate.”
He added that the goal behind this platform is to “reduce the response time for criminal and traffic reports from 4.4 minutes to just one minute.”
He pointed out that “the service will be launched during the next Expo.
In another tweet, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said: “During my visit today, I was briefed on the artificial intelligence systems that distribute security patrols in Dubai according to economic and tourism importance without human intervention…I was briefed on the “Eyoon” project for cameras with smart technology. Dubai is monitored by more than 300,000 cameras around the clock..which is one of the safest cities in the world.”
