Dubai Police prepares to secure the activities of the Dubai International Cycling Tour

Based on the directives of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, fully prepared to secure all activities in the Emirate of Dubai, the Security Committee announced its readiness to secure the “Dubai International Cycling Tour” organized by the Dubai Sports Council, on Friday, from Palm Deira to Palm Jumeirah from 12:05 pm to 4:30 pm with the participation of some of the best international and local teams and cyclists.

Colonel Jumah bin Suwaidan, Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Traffic at the Acting Head of the Security Committee to secure the Dubai Cycling Tour, confirmed that the Dubai Police has prepared an integrated security plan for securing all stages of the circumnavigation from Palm Deira to Palm Jumeirah in coordination with strategic partners.

Colonel Bin Suwaidan indicated that the Dubai Police have worked during the past few days on field landing and conducting a survey in cooperation with partners for the various circumnavigation paths, stressing that Dubai Police will work to provide surveillance and insurance patrols for the routes after developing the integrated security plan, as part of its constant keenness to implement the tasks assigned to It is its responsibility to be meticulously, professionally and constantly prepared for each event in sufficient time before its start, and to stand on all the details to produce the event according to the best international standards.

Colonel Ibn Suwaidan emphasized that the technical committee worked on early preparations through a complete survey and to ensure high readiness, and to provide the needs of the teams participating in the circumambulation that are in line with security measures and in line with the application of precautionary measures to prevent Corona virus (Covid 19)
